Pinewood Derby

A Cub Scout Phenomenon

Each year we gather on a Saturday in March to run our race!

This year the schedule is as follows:

Pinewood Derby Kits will be distributed in January at your Den Meetings

Weigh-In will be on Friday night, March 7th - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Race Day will be on Saturday, March 8th - 9:00am to Noon

Both Weigh-in and the race are held at Crestview Elementary School Gym

Notes:

Any scout who wishes to enter a car in the derby, must present his car for official weigh-in on Friday night.  You will have the opportunity to run several trial runs with you car and to make any final adjustments prior to entering your car.  Once a car is officially entered, it will be kept by race personnel until race day.

Each scout's car will race multiple times throughout the 3 hour time period.
